Oil and Gas Overview: Stephens County, Texas

Stephens County, Texas is relatively small producer of oil and gas. Even though it may be a small producer, the County still sees substantial environmental impacts in other areas: Wastewater storage, pipelines, truck transportation, and more. What’s that odd smell in the air? Hopefully not Hydrogen Sulfide. It’s a potentially deadly gas that is sometimes found around oil and gas well sites.
