Program ERLL - the Earth Resource Learning Lab

Objective: The Earth Resource Learning Lab (ERLL) is a grassroots education program. The objective is to inform the public and industry participants of our Vision. We also educate mineral owners, oil and gas companies, and other groups  about environmental risks in natural resource exploitation, and how these risks may be managed and mitigated. We also seek to educate about water quality, wildlife protection, grassland preservation, and other areas of environmental interest insofar as it relates to oil and gas development.

How we meet our Objective: Conduct research, attend conferences, engage in dialogue with those aligned (and those not aligned) with our Vision. Publish findings. Create print and electronic materials for distribution, and more.

Project Term: Ongoing, but subject to yearly review of budget and effectiveness of program materials.

Objective & Quantifiable Success Tracking: Success for the ERLL is measured by objective and quantifiable data. We collect data on the number and cost of educational opportunities we provide, how many people these opportunities impact, the number of programs that our staff or leadership attends, and more.

Funding Priority: The ERLL is a secondary program. We believe it is important to our organization and the groups it serves, and we seek to allocate funds to it annually. However, growth of this program is dependent on the receipt of additional donor funds or grants. With these additional funds, we can produce more materials, expand our target audience, and make more impact in local communities.
