Guardian SSF - Scholarship & Support Fund
Objective: To allocate funding opportunities to students and non-profit organizations showing a commitment to working on interests that align with our Vision.
How we meet our Objective: As our primary projects obtain adequate funding, excess funds or donor dedicated funds are allocated to giving forward. Awards will be given to non-profit organizations working on projects that align with our Vision. Scholarship opportunities will be considered for college and post-graduate students committed to a degree that aligns with environmental and natural resource stewardship.
Project Term: Ongoing, but subject to yearly review of budget.
Objective & Quantifiable Success Tracking: Success for the SSF is measured by objective and quantifiable data. We collect data on the amount of funds we have available in the current fiscal year and what is estimated to be available in the next fiscal year, the number of recipients we are able to fund, the amount of funds per recipient, and other criteria. Subjective success tracking is also employed to verify that the recipient continues to work on interests that align with the ERGF Vision.
Funding Criteria
The Guardian SSF is designed to allocate funds to organizations and students who are working on projects that compliment and align with our Vision. Non-profit grants are given as unrestricted funds. Scholarship funds are aimed towards students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in field such as agricultural science, ecology, conservation biology, and similar fields.
At this time, the Guardian SSF is invitation only as we currently do not have the resources to handle a large-volume, open-invitation program.
Earth Resource Guardian Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
