Oil and Gas Overview: DeWitt County, Texas

DeWitt County, Texas is a prolific producer of oil and natural gas. Over 190 drilling permits were issued in the County in 2024. Besides drilling, there are other impactful activities such as pipeline construction, oil and gas trucking, natural gas flaring, and the like.
